DRIFT EXPERIENCE INTRO is a brief introduction to drifting, suitable for beginners. This experience will have you learning the basic drifting techniques to initiate a drift.


This experience is ideal for those who want a little taster of drifting, while learning some fun skills from industry professionals.


WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Technique 1 – Drift Handbrake Entry: Learn how to initiate the drift. Four hands-on attempts following a professional demonstration.
  • Technique 2 – Drift Donut: Learn how to control the drift by utilising steering input and throttle control. Two minutes of hands-on experience following a professional demonstration.
  • Drift Battle Hot Laps: Ride with our professional competitive drifters where they battle side by side with each other over Two Laps – One in the ‘lead lap’ and another One in the ‘chase lap’.

YOU WILL NEED

  • To be minimum age of 16 years (Under 18’s will require adult’s consent).
  • To bring and wear long pants and long sleeve shirt (No nylon, cotton preferred. Jackets, jumpers and jeans are acceptable).
  • To bring and wear full enclosed shoes (joggers, sneakers are acceptable).
  • If you have your own an ADR Approved Helmet, you are welcome to bring it along, otherwise we will have one supplied for you.
  • Confidence with driving a manual car.

SPECTATORS

Family and friends are more than welcome to spectate. Entry is free and we have undercover and seating areas available.


SESSION TIMES

  • 1:30 PM Session: 1:15 PM arrival for 1:30 PM driver's briefing
  • 2:30 PM Session: 2:15 PM arrival for 2:30 PM driver's briefing
  • 3:30 PM Session: 3:15 PM arrival for 3:30 PM driver's briefing

Please allow up to 1 hour for the duration of the event. Session start times may also vary. Both are depending on variables on the day such as class size and weather.

General Terms and Conditions for Drift School Australia

BOOKINGS
i) All Activity booking fees are GST Inclusive.
ii) All Activity bookings are NON refundable.
iii) All Activity bookings are confirmed upon receiving payment in full.
iv) Transfer to another date is permitted provided written notification is given with greater than fourteen (14) days’ notice prior to the original scheduled date.
v) Transfer to another participant is permitted provided written notification is given with greater than fourteen (14) days’ notice prior to the scheduled date.
vi) Transfers and changes are not permitted to any bookings made within the fourteen (14) days of the scheduled date.

ACTIVITY
i) All Participants are required to complete and sign an indemnity form upon commencing any Activity.
ii) Parental or guardian consent required for all Participants under eighteen (18) years of age.
iii) All Participants will attend drivers’ safety briefing session to meet OH&S requirements.
iv) All Participants will attend the scheduled date and time.
v) Failure to meet any of the above mentioned information and its requirements will result in 100% forfeiture and exclusion from Activity.

CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
i) All Participants MUST wear long sleeved shirt/top (long sleeved jackets, jumpers permitted).
ii) All Participants MUST wear long pants (track pants, jeans permitted).
iii) All Participants MUST wear appropriate enclosed shoes (sneakers permitted).
iv) Failure to meet any of the above mentioned information and its requirements will result in 100% forfeiture and exclusion from Activity.

GENERAL
i) Scheduled dates are subject to change.
ii) All Participants acknowledge that Drift School Australia may need to cancel courses due to unsuitable track conditions, unsuitable weather conditions technical problems or other events beyond Drift School Australia’s reasonable control.
iii) Participants must have ZERO blood alcohol concentration and may be subjected to breathalyser analysis testing.
iv) Any Participants that may cause damage to any Drift School Australia vehicle or property after failing to adhere instructions from Drift School Australia staff, driving recklessly negligently or irresponsibly, the Participant will be liable for damage caused.
v) Participants may be refused entry, be requested to leave Activity and grounds, or if necessary, be physically restrained or removed if in the reasonable opinion of Drift School Australia, in breach of terms and conditions, under influence of alcohol or drugs or, for any reason, causing a disturbance or threatens the safety of the landholders and their employees, guests, Participants, staff or any property of Drift School Australia in any way.
vi) Failure to meet any of the above mentioned information and its requirements will result in 100% forfeiture and exclusion from Activity.
vii) In the event that any Drift School Australia vehicle or property is damaged in any way, such that it is not safe or possible to continue, Drift School Australia will make all reasonable endeavours to provide to Participants.
viii) Drift School Australia makes no warranty or representation regarding the Activity to be provided.
ix) Drift School Australia has no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise caused by any Activity supplier.
x) Drift School Australia is not liable to any other person for any injury, damage or loss.
xi) Drift School Australia reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions, Activity, services offered and pricing at any time without any further notice.
xii) By purchasing this product you agree to receive promotional emails and other materials from Drift School Australia.
